Early Years

Join us for lots of fun at Avondale School Early Years classes. Catering for 2-5 year olds, we offer fun and interactive classes each term, that engage both the parent and child. You can help your little one learn new skills, increase their confidence and meet new friends.

Each Early Years class is 1 hour, and runs once a week, for a six week block each term. This includes play time and morning tea. Early Years classes offer great value for money at just $59 for the six week block. 

Term 3 will run from 1 August - 8 September, 9.30-10.00*am, cooking runs until 11.00am. Bookings open Wednesday, 29 June.

COOKING

Have fun in the kitchen together! Learn how to cut, mix, scrape, whizz and lick those fingers as you cook up delicious treats to take home each week. All ingredients and utensils provided.

ART

Use imagination and creativity to interpret and see the world in new ways! Lots of fun with mess and paint.

LIBRARY

Help unravel the mystery of language, delve into the world of imagination and have fun reading! Enjoy group story time, craft & borrowing a book from our state-of-the-art iCentre.

SCIENCE

Explore the wonders of scienceand open up a whole new world of discovery for your child. Enjoy loads of fizzing, popping, sliming, squishing and experimenting together each week.

GYMNASTICS

Experience a new and exciting adventure each week as you crawl, climb and balance with imagination. Encourage your child to think, create and solve problems with their own bodies.

FUN FOR SPORTS

A positive and fun-filled class that enhances coordination and fitness. A combination of fun games and sports to instil confidence and coordination.

GARDENING

Learn about plants, insects, herbs, succulents and even try your hand at flower arranging. Come and get your hands dirty – plenty of digging involved!

PLAYGROUP*

Avondale Playgroup provides an opportunity for your child to become familiar with the school & Early Learning Centre (ELC). This FREE playgroup is a time to make friendships for both parents& children. It will run from 9.15am - 10.45am in the Early Years Room at the back of the ELC. Please bring your own child’s morning tea. Register online.
